Let’s consider in more detail, what advantage in our question it is possible to receive from duplicate records?

Separation of the PKK into parts based on duplicated records

On the horizontal axis – the record number in PKK; on the vertical axis: 1 – reliable records; 2 – admissible; 3 – unknown / fictitious; 4 – known only in the PKK; 5 – duplicates; 6 – literary. The oblique arrows connect the duplicate with the prototype; vertical blue lines are the boundaries of parts.

So, in order to provide each duplicate record an "individual apartment", we must assume the PKK contain 5 parts. These boundaries are objective, not depending on the desire or preferences of the researcher.
