13. The Grand Duchesses

I had to pay a lot of attention to the "List of Prince Constantine" for the sake of showing – this very confusing text can not be used as a source. In the general structure of the VS this list tears up the succession of sections adopted in the Great Russian synodikons – first the Grand Dukes, then the Grand Duchesses.

This structural confusion is a strong argument in favor of the fact that the PKK fell into the VS not from synodikons, that he existed as a separate text, and the composer of the VS could not find a better place for it.

Let us now turn to the next section of the VS (pp. 19-20), a list of the grand duchesses, at the end of which there are still other faces.

General conclusion: the section is compiled on the basis of two independent Moscow lists, with the application of local Kiev amateur performance – fictional princesses No. 13-3 – 13-5.
