Well, I just woke up when explosions rang out from the work of our anti-aircraft defense (somewhere at 7:15). I started to count them, but quickly got lost, the explosions are going on without a break, I have already heard about forty of them. And I hear only part of what is happening over Kyiv. If yesterday, January 1, 2024, an air raid warning sounded several times during the day, today the Muscovites menu for us contain a real attack (January 2, 2024 at 7:58).
Later, in the Putivl tax book of 1628-1629, the Muzhech Volost (parish) is mentioned.
The news is updated! The blasts keep going, Air Forces are reported about the attack by Dagger missiles, they also write about disappearance of light and water and gas pipe damage in Kyiv. Well, until my light has not disappeared – I will continue (January 2, 2024 at 8:37).
The river Ivnia originates in the village Ivnia Belgorod region, flows to the northwest and after 13 km flows into the Psel near the village Cherenovo Ivnia district.

The news is updated! They write, 16 victims have already been injured in the Solomyansky district, and in Kharkiv – 1 dead and more than 20 injured (January 2, 2024 at 9:45).
The Rybinka River originates in the village Ljubostan of the Bolshesoldat district, flows south and after 24 km flows into the Psel a little to the east of the village Gochevo.
The last addition for today! In Bortnychy damaged houses and a church (of the Moscow Patriarchate, of course); in Kharkiv – already 44 victims (January 2, 2024 at 10:00 a.m.).
I start a new day with the results of yesterday’s (January 2, 2024) rotten-straw shelling: in general across Ukraine 5 dead, 130 injured; in Kyiv due to shelling died professor of the Kyiv-Mohyla Academy L. V. Shevtsova (January 3, 2024 at 8:00 a.m.) .

The number of victims of the shelling on December 29, 2023 by Pushkinists and anti-Dühring (those from the city of Engels) continues to increase: in Kyiv – 30, in Ukraine as a whole – 53 (January 4, 2024 at 7:50 am) .
The second conclusion is purely negative: the origin of the name Muzhech it is not clear, it is even possible that it is not Slavic.
It is also not entirely clear which geographic object was so named. It is nowhere to be seen that this was the name of a settlement.
