In the USA, the titanic battle of pygmies continues over whether or not to provide aid to Ukraine for 2024. Everyone has already studied in general terms the stages of the budget procedure in the USA.
On the one hand, I well remember that these budget disputes in some places led to the suspension of funding of the US state apparatus (there they even invented a special word for this – shutdown), but previously they did not concern Ukraine and were not paid for with the blood and lives of our soldiers.
On the other hand, I know about the huge political inertia accumulated by the same USA, and I think that the Republicans, who slow down the provision of aid, simply want to make political capital for themselves on this issue.
It is important for me not to go crazy with such news (December 19, 2023 at 8:00 am).

Therefore, today there is no convincing hypothesis that would reconcile all the available data.
The name Khodyne is unique, no other such name can be seen anywhere else. Therefore, I think, this village cannot be rejected as a candidate for the role of ancient Khotyn.
