Another special kind of service is connected with the pen and inkwell. Here, first of all, we must remember the writers who wrote the Pechersky Synodikon.

We see here as many as 12 names, probably the monks of the Caves Monastery. Considering the poverty of our news about the names of the 16th-century writers, such an amount can be impressive.
