Names, the titles of which denote monks (including the higher clergy – bishops and metropolitans), in the PS there are 863 (this accounts for 90 % of the total number of names of the clergy).

Monks have mainly titles inok (inoka for women) and schimnik (schimnitsa for women), less often – by their combination. Other variants of titles are rare. The monk-priest is designated by the title saint-inok.

There are 573 (66 %) of all men’s monastic names, 290 (34 %) for women, that is, the ratio of men and women is about the same as we saw for untitled names.
