(N1LSI) was preserved in a single parchment copy (the so-called Synodal copy). This is the original chronicle, which was rewritten sometime in the 1280s and then systematically continued until 1330. Then, until 1352, there are notes to the main text. This chronicle, like all the oldest chronicles, is an extremely important source for the history of ancient Rus’.
