The circumstances of the Tatar attack in 1478 are presented by Długosz briefly and not very clearly (and there are no other sources about this attack).

At this point, we say goodbye to Jan Długosz, who provided us with a lot of unique information, unknown from other sources about the Tatar attacks and about Pobozhzhia region. For further events, we will use the annals by Maciej Miechowita, Justus Decius and Bernard Wapowski, as well as (as far as possible) the growing documentary material.
