Since in the pair PS – VS for the first time in the studies of synodikons we are dealing with the borrowing of texts from an early source, we now have material for considering special cases of text transformation (previously we had it only in chronicles). More material here gives a comparison of the princely families, but the gentry families also contain the information we need.
