The first significant article on our subject belongs Ignatius Nikolayevich Danilovich (1787 – 1843), who is credited with the discovery and publication of the Suprasl copy (Bil2L + Vit3L).

Thus, the main merit of Danilovich – that he, without having the full text of Lit1L, surely saw in it a source of Stryjkowski.
