Zabila and Paskevich

Nicholas Zharkikh

Field-Marshal, Prince and Count I. F. Paskevich (1782 – 1856) in 1832 – 1856 was the governor of the Kingdom of Poland. Zabila met him tentatively in 1852, and Paskevich interested in his poetry.

By late memories Zabila visited Paskevich in Gomel, used his acquaintance to help the poor.
