Probably at the end of 1832 – beginning of 1833, staying on vacation in Borzna, Victor met with Lyubov Belozerskaya and they were soon engaged.

However, Victor Love were relatives and laws forbade such marriages. Perhaps this was the reason that Mikhail Belozersky insisted Love married another.

Victor Zabila never married until his death.
