The building of upper shopping series was built on Red Square in 1890 – 1893. This is another piece in the Russian national style of the late 19th century (also referred to as pseudorussian). After the Bolshevik Revolution and up until 1953 there were government agencies, and since 1953 it again used as a shopping complex.
