Transfiguration church from the south

The church was built over the northern (main) gate of the monastery in 1688. In the photo we see it from the court, from the south. Church is a brilliant example of "Naryshkin barocco" – architectural fashion prevailing in Moscow in 4 th quarter of 17 cent.
